Due to customer demand, TEKO have extended their popular range of ‘TEKNET’ ABS enclosures
with the new ‘B2’ models which have larger battery compartments.
Typical applications include in-field test and measurement instruments, medical devices, data
loggers and much more. The ergonomic ‘TEKNET-B2’ hand-held enclosures feature ‘soft-touch’
edge grips for secure and comfortable holding during use.
The edge grips also provide protection for the case mouldings. The standard case material is
off-white, RAL 9002 or black, RAL 9004 ABS (UL 94 HB) with a modern textured finish.
The edge grips are in contrasting light grey or dark grey elastomer, but these can also be
moulded in other colours. The four new models have external dimensions of
155 x 96 x 24 mm or 155 x 96 x 28 mm and feature larger battery compartments which will
accept four 1.5V AA cells or two 9V cells.
The top and base mouldings include screw pillars for fitting PCBs and assemblies. All models
feature a recessed top moulding for easy location of a membrane keypad, display module or
product label. Assembly is by four self-tapping screws.
TEKO can supply the ‘TEKNET-B2’ enclosures with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors
and controls etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos. The cases can also be moulded
or painted in alternative colours.
